Current assignment: Father Doug: Pastor in Adams and Henderson
Father Bob:Pastor in Harrisville and Star Lake

1.) What's your favorite prayer?
The Rosary in French and Spanish

2.) Favorite saint?
Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Joseph

3.) A holy moment in your priesthood:
Father Doug: Ordination of my twin brother. Father Bob: Blessing of parents at their 60th wedding anniversary.

4.) Something you've learned from your brother priests (or a particular priest):
We grew up with very pastoral priests (in Hammond). Our pastors were real people who were very family orientated.
They would visit our family and support every spiritual need. They walked us through the ups and downs of life.
Thus, two vocations grew out of this rural setting.

5.) Favorite part of being a priest:
Fr. Doug: I have a parish with a religious education program that includes over 200 students. Each month a class is in charge of weekend
Mass. Our students greet, lector, take up the collection, lead the singing or make a skit. I am always amazed how well they serve Our
Lord. It makes for a lively Mass. Fr. Bob: Having two parishes we have double the normal parish organizations. We have dedicated lay people
who serve the needs of the communities of Star Lake and Harrisville. They give of their time and talent and are very gracious. They are an inspiration.

6.) Advice for young people considering a vocation
Be open to the grace of God’s Holy Spirit. God works with real people to accomplish mighty things. Seek out your gifts and be open to
what God wants for you. Seek God’s peace and you

7.) Something about you that few people would know:
We were born on two separate days and our birth certificates are wrong for each of us. We always have to use
the brother’s date of birth for all of our business.

8.) Favorite temporal (nonchurchy) things:
Father Doug like all kinds of music except jazz. Father Bob like rock music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

9.) Favorite Foods:
There is nothing better than a home cooked Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings.
