| Msgr. Robert H. Aucoin | Year for Priests Page |
Ordination:March 14, 1970
Current assignment: Principal of Seton Catholic Central High School, Vicar of Education, Director
of Deacon Formation
1.) What's your favorite prayer?
Liturgy of the Hours,
"Anima Christi"
2.) Favorite saint?
Jean-Marie Vianney
3.) A holy moment in your priesthood:
Day of ordination, celebrating
the sacraments with
faith-filled people, rather
than with people who just
want to get the sacrament.
4.) Something you've learned from your brother priests (or aparticular priest):
What not to do
5.) Favorite part of being a priest:
Celebrating Mass on the weekends
6.) Advice for young people considering a vocation:
Don't spend too much
time thinking about it. You
will only be able to decide
by making a decision to
enter the seminary or the
convent; you do not have to
be sure about a vocation to
enter the seminary or convent.
The first months or weeks
are your time to discover in
a practical way whether God
is calling you to be a priest
or consecrated religious.
Entering a seminary or convent
is a decision to find
out whether or not God is
calling you.
7.) Something about you that few people would know:
I am half Armenian; I cannot
stand waiting in lines
8.) Favorite temporal things:
Travel, mall shopping, but
not buying anything
9.) Favorite food:
Pizza, soft ice cream. I
know all the soft ice cream
places in the diocese, and
have been to many of them.
