| Father Ted Crosby | Year for Priests Page |
Date of Ordination- Aug.12, 2000
Current Assignment- Pastor of St. Bernard’s church, Lyon Mountain,
and Administrator of St.Edmund’s
Church, Ellenburg.
1.) What's your favorite prayer?
The Mass and the Rosary
2.) Favorite saint?
Blessed Virgin Mary
3.) A holy moment in your priesthood:
My first Mass
4.) Something you've learned from your brother priests (or a particular priest):
Msgr. Jerry Service always
said, “Trust in God.”
5.) Favorite part of being a priest:
Celebrating Mass, preaching,
hearing Confessions.
6.) Advice for young people considering a vocation
Be close to the Mother of
God. Mary told the angel at
the Annunciation, “Be it done
unto me according to your
word.”
God was able to entrust
such a great vocation to Mary
because she never let herself
get in God’s way.
7.) Something about you that few people would know:
I’ve been interested in history,
particularly Lincoln and
the Civil war, since I was in
second grade.
Last month when I was in
Gettysburg, I picked up a
reproduction Civil War musket,
so recently I’ve been
doing a little target shooting.
The only game I’ve bagged
so far is a pumpkin and
some empty wine bottles.
8.) Favorite temporal (nonchurchy) things:
My dog, Lizzie.
9.) Favorite food:
Cheeseburgers and tater
tots.
