June 29, 2022 The celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Diocese of Ogdensburg provides a special time for us to Remember, Renew, Rejoice. The Synod document is in its review stages and nearly ready to share. Last weekend’s celebration of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ and Eucharistic Procession was a special time of communion. Our Anniversary Mass on the Feast of Saint Lawrence, August 10, 2022, will be a special day to Remember our rich past, Renew our commitment to serve the Lord and Rejoice in the goodness of God. Of course, we Remember those many disciples of Christ, who have received charisms to lead and serve the Body of Christ in so many ways across so many years. Part of our anniversary celebration is to gather and praise God for these servants and to honor some of them in a distinct way at our Celebration of the Body of Christ. It is my pleasure to invite you to join in celebrating the labors of all who have served the people of God while honoring a special few.
