Recent decisions from the Vatican have necessitated the sending of priests for further studies in Canon Law to assist in the diocesan Matrimonial Tribunal and Office of Canonical Affairs. 

Bishop Terry R. LaValley has asked Father Leagon Carlin to attend St. Paul University to begin studies for the fall semester of 2024. 

Bishop is grateful to Father Carlin for his willingness to undertake these important studies. Father Carlin will join Father Shane Lynch, who will begin his last year of studies in the Fall of 2024.

Please pray for Father Carlin and the parish family of St. Peter’s in Massena, where he is currently serving.
